Lantern is a specialty care platform that partners with employers and health plans to deliver measurable savings on surgical and specialty care. Our Growth Analytics team sits at the intersection of data and commercial strategy — we build the analytical foundation that powers our sales process and demonstrates our value to clients.

The Role

We are seeking a Manager of Growth Analytics who is equally comfortable building a rigorous savings methodology and standing in front of a client explaining it. This is a high-visibility role that owns the analytical narrative behind Lantern's value proposition — developing the frameworks, models, and presentations that articulate how we generate savings, and ensuring that story is compelling, credible, and defensible.

Roughly 50% of your time will be spent building: designing methodology, creating pitch materials, developing analyses, and working closely with sales leadership to sharpen our commercial story. The remaining 50% will be client-facing — presenting directly to health plan, employer benefit teams and consultants who want to understand our savings approach in detail.
Location: Hybrid - at least 3 days/wk in our NYC, NY office

What You'll DoSavings Methodology & Analytics
  • Understand Lantern's savings measurement methodology end-to-end — from framework design to validation against realized performance
  • Build and maintain actuarially sound models that quantify savings opportunity and calculate realized cost avoidance
  • Develop segmentation analyses that identify where Lantern drives the most impact across different employer populations and benefit designs
  • Stay current on industry benchmarks, pricing standards, and competitive methodologies to ensure Lantern's approach is best-in-class
Sales Enablement & Pitch Development
  • Create high-quality, data-driven pitch decks and client materials that translate complex analytics into a clear commercial story
  • Partner with the product organization, Director – Growth Analytics, Director – Health Economics, and sales leadership to tailor savings narratives for specific prospects based on their claims, size, and benefit design
  • Build a library of reusable analytical assets — templates, models, and case studies — that scale the team's output
  • Identify and implement AI-powered tools and workflows that automate manual analytical processes, from data preparation to narrative generation, driving efficiency across the team's day-to-day work
  • Ensure all materials reflect current methodology and are reviewed for accuracy before going to market
Client Engagement
  • Serve as the analytical authority in client-facing conversations, presenting Lantern's savings methodology to employer benefit teams, consultants, and CFOs
  • Field detailed, technical questions about how savings are calculated, attributed, and validated
  • Build credibility and confidence with sophisticated buyers who will scrutinize the numbers
Team Leadership
  • Manage and develop Growth Analytics Analyst, setting high standards and providing strong analytical coaching
  • Partner across Data Engineering, BI, and Product Analytics teams to ensure the right data is available and correctly interpreted
What We're Looking ForRequired
