Job Summary:
The Manager, Group Product provides leadership in the development and execution of digital strategy and management of the users’ digital experience. This role is dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a balance between strategic planning and hands-on people management.
Essential Functions:
- Create clarity on the vision and execute strategy for user digital experience based on deep understanding of our member’s needs, how the business works, and in alignment with CareSource prioritized market opportunities.
- Coach and develop a team of product managers in the development of our member facing digital experiences.
- Plan, organize, and lead team functions, resources, and staff; establish goals, performance standards, and operating procedures for assigned functions.
- Foster a data-driven culture, utilizing analytics to inform product decisions and improve customer experiences.
- Manage the implementation of new markets, programs, and acquisitions through member facing digital assets.
- Collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team (Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and others) to ensure that product initiatives are well-coordinated and effectively executed.
- Organize and facilitate roadmaps and milestones, anticipate and manage risks, resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Establish and manage product communication forums, artifacts, reporting formats and tools to scale high quality product development operation.
- Drive the go-to-market strategy for new features and products, including market analysis, positioning, and launch planning.
- Identify and anticipate new and emerging opportunities by staying updated with trends, industry standards, and evolving market and customer needs.
- Leverage Human Centered Design and Design Thinking principles to facilitate putting our members and providers at the center of our work
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Marketing, IT, Business, Communication Finance, or health care field, or other related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive product management, development, and/or market strategy experience is required
- Experience in digital strategy, digital design customer facing solutions (web, mobile) and digital/IT development processes is required
- Healthcare insurance industry experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity of the healthcare/managed care field and knowledge of government program products is preferred

- Ability to actively gather appropriate level of participation and input to decision-making and foster it within teams

- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business
Compensation Range:
$92,300.00 - $161,600.00
CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
