Job Description

As the Manager, Government Pricing, you will support the Sandoz Government

Pricing team in data prep, validation, calculation, and analytics related to our participation in the following government programs:

           

•           Medicaid Drug Rebate Program

•           Medicare Part B Program

•           VA Federal Supply Schedule Program

•           PHS 340B Drug Discount Program

Your additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Manage the calculation of one or more of the following: Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP) non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP) and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP).
  • Complete other State Program and Supplemental Program filings within the allotted time. Maintain SOP’s, SOX documentation and price calculation methodologies.
  • Responsible for review and maintenance of key master data utilized within all Government Pricing calculations including bonafide fee assessments.
  • Identify and resolve compliance issues, questions, or pricing requests received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Ensure calculation compliance and coordinate process of existing and new data from business systems for inclusion into price calculations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to review commercial and business licensing contracts and amendments to assess government pricing requirements and implications. 
  • Work on government pricing related projects.
  • Review BDL proposed deals and provide insights related to Government Pricing, Operations and proposed language that enhances compliance and profitability.
  • Drive proactive and reactive analytics and insights through digital initiatives that help improve Forecasting, Contracting Decisions, Pricing Decisions and Timing, Business Planning
  • Provide input and analysis on proposed and new Government Regulations

What you’ll bring to the role:

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of government pricing experience required.
  • 4 years of business experience required.
  • Working knowledge of government regulations pertaining to Federal and State programs.
  • Technical expertise in Excel and data management tools.

Desirable (preferred): 

  • Government Pricing/Medicaid Rebate System experience (Revitas/Model-N) preferred.
  • Experience in analytical / visualization tools (QlikSense/Alteryx) preferred.

This position will be located onsite at the Princeton, NJ office. We follow a hybrid work policy that combines a mix of in-person and remote work to allow our employees flexibility in designing a schedule that works for our associates and the business. 

Sandoz offers a generous employee benefits package that includes a competitive salary, health insurance coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental and vision, a generous company match for retirement savings accounts, and generous paid time off. 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $112,800 and $169,200/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.  Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
