We are looking for a Manager of Government Accounting and Compliance to join our premier team. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to be instrumental in crafting the future of the accounting and reporting function supporting US government (USG) operations. Your expertise in accounting operations and systems will help drive detailed execution in government accounting and ensure that we maintain compliant and outstanding standards. What you will be doing:
Subject matter expertise in government and/or grant compliance including applicable regulatory frameworks, i.e., Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), DFARs, Uniform Guidance, Service Contracts Act, etc. and general contracting and pricing practices and principles in the technology industry
Handle multi-entity financial structures for parent/subsidiary organizations, implementing scalable intercompany accounting processes that ensure DCAA compliance and consolidation for corporate reporting
Maintain and be responsible for accounting practices for contracts, ensuring strict adherence to USG compliance requirements
Review, analyze, and interpret contractual documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations
Monitor and lead financial reporting for government contracts
Ensure all accounting activities and records are compliant with government standards and audit requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation, training, and process improvements
Support external audits and respond to inquiries from government agencies, including the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from a leading university in Finance and Accounting
10+ overall years of experience in accounting for US government contracting
2+ years of leadership experience
Active U.S. Security Clearance or the ability to acquire and maintain one is required
In-depth knowledge of CAS, FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation)
Experience scaling accounting processes and new systems to support rapid organizational growth
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives at the same time
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience supporting DCAA audits and government financial reviews
Advanced proficiency with USG compliant accounting systems, including Unanet
Familiarity with other federal regulations impacting government contractors (e.g., DFARS)
Certification such as CPA or CGFM is a plus

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 247,250 USD.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
