About the Role

As the Global Trade Technology and Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing all global trade digital solutions and utilize data analytics to drive compliance, risk reduction, efficiency, transparency, and cost savings. This includes the selection of appropriate automated tools, conducting technical trainings, preparing SOPs, and monitoring the efficacy of existing technical training content. This role will also play a critical part in the expansion of the Global Trade Management system across the enterprise.

The goal of the content creation and trainings is to mitigate risk and strengthen our compliance program.

Your Team

You will report to the Sr. Manager of Global Trade Compliance Center of Excellence. The focus of this role is on selection and implementation (including training and preparation of SOP's) of global technology enhancements and data analytics,

What You Will Do

  • Create engaging learning activities, compelling technology related content, and product adoption and enablement materials to enhance knowledge retention for internal and external users. This will be done by utilizing a variety of formats including e-learning, webinars, workshops and in-person sessions.
  • Understands the integration of technical platforms with the existing a business processes from an end user viewpoint.
  • Assess technical training needs and customize programs to address specific risks, roles, regions and business needs.
  • Manage subject matters experts and stakeholder relationships to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Responsible for data analytics and reporting to key stakeholders on duty/tariff spend and savings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to stay abreast of global trade compliance regulations and trends to ensure technology training content is current, relevant, and effective in mitigating risk.
  • Reviews, updates, and creates scalable solutions to current processes.
  • Communicates improvements to management and ensures proper implementation and strategic objectives are met.
  • Evaluating and making changes technical and product aspects of a learning management system, ERP system, and Global Trade Management systems.
  • Implementing innovative trade digital tools to promote efficiency, risk reduction, transparency, and cost savings. This work requires collaboration and effective and clear communication with key business partners, including, Global Trade Compliance, Global Trade Operations, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, DigITal, and Learning Development functional teams.
  • Other duties as assigned, participation in cross-functional or corporate project teams.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in a related field e.g., trade compliance, international business, logistics, supply chain.
  • 7+ years of international trade experience, implementation of global trade technology platforms and technical training.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Data analytics expertise (experience in Qlik Sense or PowerBi needed).
  • Strong understanding of global trade compliance and operations, as well as global trade management software (e.g. Thomson Reuters OneSource, SAP GTS).
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong SAP user knowledge.

What is Nice to Have

  • Working proficiency language skills in Spanish, Hungarian, Mandarin, or another foreign language.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 5-10%, domestic and international.
  • This role is eligible to work remotely full-time with occasional trips into a U.S. HARMAN office location as necessary (this could be on 24-hour notice).
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Salary Ranges:

USD 100,125 - USD 146,850
