Overview

This role requires self-driven and motivated Treasury/Global Markets Specialist to cover primarily Business and Corporate Clients with responsibilities as below. This role will be reporting to the Head, Corporate Solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Solicit new-to-bank (NTB) clients and reactivate dormant clients to drive business growth.

  • Increase wallet share of existing Global Markets clients (ETB) through deep market engagement.

  • Expand product coverage for clients by introducing new-to-product (NTP) offerings.

  • Price and structure tailored corporate solutions for both asset and liability management.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while handling necessary operational works and duties

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute business strategies aligned to the Bank's aspiration and overall direction.

  • Manage and report portfolio run rate and pipeline deals status.

  • Prepare periodic performance reports or other reports for the Team Lead or Desk Head.

  • Coach and manage the junior dealers to foster professional growth.

Organisational Responsibilities

  • Execute business strategy and achieve targets set.

  • Work with the Business & Corporate Banking (BCB) division on account plan and execution.

  • Provide training on Global Markets solutions or products to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Guide BCB counterparts on procedures and documentations for GM related facilities and deals.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to improve processes and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent.

  • Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PPKM) license qualification.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Treasury Sales and Marketing with a strong understanding of FX, Interest Rate, Commodity derivatives, and other treasury products.

  • Strong expertise in treasury solutioning, marketing, relationship building, and the pricing and structuring of derivative products across asset classes.

  • Proven capability in asset and liability solutions, with experience in guiding, coaching, and motivating junior team members
