ABOUT FLUENCE

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Manager, Global Engineering Change Implementation is responsible for building, scaling, and governing the execution layer of Fluence’s global change management capability across contract manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers. This role ensures approved engineering and configuration changes are fully implemented, embedded, and traceable across the manufacturing value chain from supplier through final system build.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Global Change Implementation Capability (Build & Scale):

  • Own execution layer of global change management across CMs and suppliers
  • Design and scale a repeatable operating model aligned to enterprise processes and standards
  • Develop onboarding playbooks for new CMs and suppliers
  • Drive transition from manual workflows to system-enabled execution

End-to-End Implementation Execution (CM + Supplier Ecosystem)

  • Own supplier, CM, and final product cut-ins
  • Ensure updates to QCPs, SOPs, and work instructions prior to implementation
  • Define and enforce implementation readiness gates
  • Align supplier readiness, inventory disposition, and cut-in timing

Cross-Functional Integration

  • Integrate Engineering, Configuration Management, Supply Chain, and Quality functions
  • Translate engineering outputs into CM and supplier-ready execution packages

Governance, Performance and Visibility

  • Define KPIs for implementation cycle time, quality, and traceability
  • Build dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility

Risk Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify risks across supplier and CM execution
  • Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field
  • 8–12+ years of experience in global manufacturing, supply chain, or operations
  • Significant experience in product engineering, PLM change implementation
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and supplier networks

Skills Required
