Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing – Final Assembly team as a Final Assembly Supervisor 2 based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Northrop Grumman Marine Systems specializes in the development, manufacture, assembly, and testing of propulsion and power generation systems for naval surface ships and submarines.
What you’ll get to do:
As a People Leader, you’ll support your employees by ensuring:
- Lead a team directly responsible for the final assembly of one of these units.
- You will supervise a team of 10-15 mechanics, pipe fitters, painters, or electricians in their day-to-day work.
- You will be charged with taking care of your team, your product, and ensuring all work is performed to Northrop Grumman’s high standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Engagement.
- Their Time and Pay are accurate.
- They work in a safe environment, and their concerns are addressed.
- The collective bargaining agreement is adhered to.
- Their assigned training is completed.
- Obstacles to performing work efficiently are addressed.
- Interpersonal issues are addressed quickly and at the lowest level.
Must be flexible to work weekends to support operations as needed.
Basic Qualifications Manager General Manufacturing 2:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Master's with a minimum of 6 years of experience; PhD with a minimum of 4 years of experience (4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Supervisory or team lead experience in an operations environment.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
The ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications Manager General Manufacturing 2:
STEM Degree
Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
Understanding of SAP.
Experience managing union represented workforce.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Previous military experience
Have an active DOD security clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $121,100.00 - $181,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
