This role supports the Commodities Electronic Warfare Cell, where precision, safety, quality, and adherence to manufacturing processes are critical.

What You'll get to Do:
- Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Commodities Electronic Warfare Cell specializes in the manufacturing and testing of a variety of hardware and systems, from circuit card assemblies (CCAs) to line replaceable units (LRUs).
- The Manager, General Manufacturing 1 will supervise the factory hourly Precision Electro-Mechanical Assemblers, who assemble, disassemble, repair, rework, and reassemble both production and depot field return units using design drawing documentation and work instructions.
- This position will also interface with professionals from Sr. Operations Leadership, Operations Engineering, Project Management, Production Control and Product Quality disciplines.
- Additional responsibilities include establishing daily duties among direct reports based on customer need, monitoring production metrics to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, properly addressing production, personal, and performances concerns, enforcing company, manufacturing, and safety policies and procedures, productively coaching staff members for continuous professional development, and reassuring a positive work environment with team collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator who can assign tasks efficiently, resolve problems effectively, make assessments properly, and manage time proficiently.
Basic Qualifications for the Manager General Manufacturing 1:
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing OR Master's Degree with 3 or more years of relevant work experience in manufacturing. (An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- 2 or more years of experience with production planning and scheduling
- EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems) and/or data analysis experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications for the Manager General Manufacturing 1:
- Experience with the fundamentals of SAP / ERP
- Demonstrated experience with CAM functions
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,400.00 - $143,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
