We are currently looking for an Manager – General Ledger (m/f/d) for our Finance Team, based in our main office in Hamburg.
Your tasks
- Preparation and quality assurance of monthly reporting package for the parent company according to IFRS
- Preparation and quality assurance of annual financial statements according to HGB
- Implementation and further development of the Group accounting guidelines
- Proactive improvement of internal processes and structures in accounting
- Responsibility for Audits as well as Tax advisory
- Monitoring of the internal control systems
- Responsibility in accounting for deferred taxation
- Strong collaboration with the controlling team
- Most importantly Team management and development
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed university studies with focus on Accounting or Finance
- You have solid professional experience in a corporate and/or with an audit/tax consultancy firm
- You have an excellent knowledge of international accounting (IFRS) as well as a strong understanding of the core processes in financial accounting (GL, AR, AP, Taxes)
- You work in a proactive way with "Hands-On" mentality and a strong sense of responsibility
- You speak German and English fluently
- A knowledge of Oracle Cloud and HFM is a plus

Skills Required
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Solid professional experience in corporate accounting or audit/tax consultancy
- Excellent knowledge of international accounting (IFRS)
