Manager, Full Stack Developer

Avanade Inc. seeks Managers Full Stack Developers in St. Petersburg, FL to coordinate and guide the work/effort of project teams throughout the product development lifecycle (Plan, Analyze, Design, Develop and Test) for web services, enterprise portals, and other mission critical enterprise solutions built on the Microsoft technology stack. You will: coordinate application development projects using Service-Oriented Architecture to develop applications on the Microsoft platform including .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Java, Angular and NodeJS; guide efforts to define technical, operational, and user requirements; perform work estimation, planning, stakeholder management, and group management; participate in presales activities including development of proposals and design of conceptual solutions; manage client relationships; and serve as a career advisor to other solution developers. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic and international) is expected up to 80% of the time. You must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of St. Petersburg, FL.

Skills and experiences

7 years of experience as a Manager Full Stack Developer, or in a similar role within the IT or IT consulting industry. A qualified applicant's experience must include: 7 years of experience developing and deploying full stack applications using programming languages such as C# or Java; 2 years of experience developing front-end applications using ASP.NET, Angular, React, or NodeJS; 5 years of experience developing, analyzing, and performing optimization of code; 3 years of experience working with cloud native architectures in AWS or Azure; 3 years of experience leading teams and developers utilizing Service Oriented Architecture to design applications with Java or on the Microsoft platform; 3 years of experience leading technical teams in end-to-end development of custom applications using Java or equivalent Microsoft technologies; and 3 years of experience communicating and presenting information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, plus at least seven (7) years of experience as a Manager Full Stack Developer, or in a similar role within the IT or IT consulting industry. A qualified applicant's experience must include: 7 years of experience developing and deploying full stack applications using programming languages such as C# or Java; 2 years of experience developing front-end applications using ASP.NET, Angular, React, or NodeJS; 5 years of experience developing, analyzing, and performing optimization of code; 3 years of experience working with cloud native architectures in AWS or Azure; 3 years of experience leading teams and developers utilizing Service Oriented Architecture to design applications with Java or on the Microsoft platform; 3 years of experience leading technical teams in end-to-end development of custom applications using Java or equivalent Microsoft technologies; and 3 years of experience communicating and presenting information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
