Overview:
This role offers a dynamic and energetic individual to enable Payment Facilitators' participation on the Mastercard global ecosystem through customer-facing opportunities to enhance ecosystem performance and educating such participants on the dynamics of being in the business.
The successful candidate acts as the primary interface with Payment Facilitators, Customers and Customer facing teams regarding Service Provider Registration Program, Franchise Management Program and Network Enablement Management Program.
Responsibilities will include:
Acquirers must ensure compliance with Mastercard Standards including but not limited to onboarding, registration, transaction coding requirements related to their Payment Facilitators. Acquirers must also strengthen their screening of new Payment Facilitators, as well as closely monitor new risk signals in transaction data, while ensuring their Payment Facilitators remain compliant with local laws and Mastercard Standards. The Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing activities related to Acquirers and Payment Facilitators across the EEMEA region.
The Franchise team is looking for an expert in merchant acquiring domain with the following responsibilities, such as, not limited to:
1. Manage Acquirers and payment facilitator lifecycle activities, including registration, licensing supplements, and program participation.
2. Identify acquirers, merchants, payment facilitators, and other ecosystem participants requiring registration or additional enablement, and coordinate completion of required processes including following the escalation process and taking necessary actions including conditional approval or declining the application
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk, AML, Regulatory, Account Management, and Global Franchise teams) to support end to end execution.
4. Support stakeholders on matters related to payments fraud management, approval rates, chargebacks, and scheme compliance
5. Support the Network Enablement Partner (NEP) Program onboarding of the Payment Facilitators.
6. Conduct operational reviews for Customers, Payment Facilitators, and other Service Providers.
7. Identify and commercialize solutions to address customer pain points and improve ecosystem performance.
8. Develop and deliver training materials and solution-based sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
9. Designing internal and external reports that help identify poor performance areas and hence need urgent attention.
10. Support delivering consulting engagements to support acquirer performance optimization (trainings, performance optimization projects, mandatory FMP reviews).
11. Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and support regional growth objectives.
Experience/Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will have worked with acquirers on operations, onboarding the merchants and Payment Facilitators, fraud and/or merchant compliance with scheme standards or have experience in selling tools and solutions in this space. 5+ years in the payments industry, merchant acquiring operations, product management, or fraud management.

Can analyze data and build new reports.• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously. • Analytical mindset with experience working with data, reports, and documentation• Languages: Fluent in English, any other language is a plus

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in the payments industry, merchant acquiring operations, product management, or fraud management
  • Experience working with acquirers on operations, merchant onboarding, and Payment Facilitator onboarding
  • Experience with payments fraud management or merchant compliance with scheme standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery at business and technical levels
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders
  • Analytical experience working with data, reports, and documentation
  • Fluent English
  • Experience selling tools and solutions in the payments space
  • Additional language proficiency
