Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Significant exposure to the CFO, CTO, and CEO
  • Remote position with flexibility to support all U.S. time zones

Position Summary

The Technology FP&A Manager provides financial leadership and decision support for the Technology organization, partnering with the CTO, PMO, Finance, and business leaders to improve financial transparency and support strategic investments. This role leads weekly and monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, FinOps reporting, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, delivering actionable financial insights to executive leadership.


Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly and monthly financial forecasting for the Technology organization.
  • Manage the annual budget and recurring forecast process.
  • Produce executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Partner with IT and PMO leadership on project financial performance.
  • Manage Technology FinOps reporting and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Allocate technology costs across Lines of Business to support Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reporting.
  • Oversee headcount, labor, capital, and operating expense reporting.
  • Support monthly close through financial analysis and variance explanations.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and cost analyses for technology investments.
  • Prepare pricing and cost-rate analyses for new business opportunities.
  • Present financial results and recommendations to Technology and executive leadership.
  • Improve financial reporting, forecasting, and planning processes through automation and standardization.
Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • MBA, CTP, or CFA preferred.
  • 4+ years of financial analyst experience.
  • Significant exposure to technology organizations and software development environments.
  • Familiarity with project management and time-tracking tools used in professional services organizations.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, BI/analytics tools, and ERP system skills.
  • Experience communicating with senior management.

The annual compensation range starts at $120,000 plus bonus but can increase depending on experience and qualifications”
