Manager - Financial Planning & Reporting

Our dynamic Finance team is searching for Manager - Financial Planning & Reporting, and the role is based out of Manesar, Gurgaon. This role will be responsible for Internal reporting and FP&A as well as external reporting.

You Will Make an Impact By:

1. Internal Reporting & FP&A

• Group Reporting deliverables in SAP environment such as HC, P&L, Balance sheet
• Develop and execute the overall FP&A strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Drive the development of financial models, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis for decision support.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial results, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive review
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute periodic financial statements and reports for internal management use
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing historical data and reports.
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Continuously review and streamline financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and leverage technology to optimize reporting workflow.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, tax, legal, operation, HR, Procurement and other departments, to facilitate smooth communication and alignment on financial reporting matters.
• Participate in special projects, initiatives, and ad-hoc assignments as required by senior management or business needs.
• Working knowledge of sox compliance

2. External Reporting

• Coordinate the preparation of external financial reports, including quarterly and annual financial statements, in accordance with relevant accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS).
• Ensure that external financial reports are filed in a timely manner with regulatory bodies
• Work with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary information and support to facilitate the audit.
• Produce statutory reporting and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to financial disclosure.
• Monitor and analyze new accounting pronouncements and regulations to determine the impact on the company's financial reporting.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant with proven experience of 7-10 years preferred in a Multi-National environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (US GAAP)
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a results-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and Advance excel is must, Knowledge in Hyperion, Cognos etc preferred
• Knowledge of advance BI tools like Power BI, Tableau is preferable
