Job Description
Wonderful Orchards is currently looking for a Manager, FP&A. The Manager will support Wonderful Orchards in cash forecasting, financial management reporting, annual budget, and ad hoc analysis. This position will be responsible for administrating the financial budgeting/forecasting system (EPBCS).
This role will be ideal for candidates with experience in budgeting and long-term forecasting, a high-level understanding of accounting concepts, and a solid technical background. This role will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles for financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyses.
- Analyze financial results and understand key trends.
- Understand and review financial results to find anomalies and determine reasons for variances to forecast.
- Provide input to Treasury to support their development of the overall cash needs for the enterprise.
- Act as a central point of contact for all business partners with respect to cash forecasting.
- Develop procedures/reports for the new budgeting/planning system (EPBCS).
- Perform ad hoc analyses and drive continual process improvements to advance the efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of planning & analysis activities.
- Work closely with accounting, reporting, and operations teams to gather information and address questions/concerns.
- Prepare presentations for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Analytical and reporting skills with the ability to resolve issues and develop new processes when necessary.
- Ability to translate large sets of financial data into meaningful financial reporting and analysis.
- An understanding of Enterprise Performance Management systems and data structure.
- Advanced level of Excel experience is necessary - including building and maintaining financial models.
- Oracle EBS, EPBCS, or Tableau experience a plus.
- Proficiency in developing PowerPoint presentations with a focus on explaining financial results.
- Outstanding verbal/written communication, presentation, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and can work with limited supervision in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, small-team environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work quickly/accurately under pressure and continuously shift priorities to meet deadlines/deliverables.
- Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
