Your day at NTT DATA

This is a Finance Manager role focusing on financial reporting, implementing financial related projects, driving financial operational excellence to influence financial results and also being the point of contact for commercial related matters.
The role requires the person to be strong in accounting and is comfortable in dealing with different stakeholders within the company.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper reporting and analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet items
• Works with service providers to ensure proper capturing of accounting journals and monthly reconciliation
• Reviews and clears open items in Balance Sheet and other reconciling items
• Assists in monthly forecast and yearly budget exercise
• Assists in statutory audit and all other related regulatory compliance
• Works closely with different business units and departments on cost analysis, allocation and recognition
• Assesses current practices and procedures, and makes recommendations for improvements and prepares, reviews and analyses financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Involves in various financial project implementation and business integration that impacts finance
• Ensures proper SAP migration from existing ERP system 
• Involves in e-invoicing implementation and compliance
• Works with service providers and business units to ensure billing targets are achieved
• Assists to drive NWC (net working capital) results
• Prepares proposal for internal funding of commercial deals for approval from Commercial HQ
• Supports Bid commercial review process by working with Commercial HQ, solution and sales team.
• Supports any other tasks that are assigned.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, CA/CPA, CIMA or related field.
• SAP GT / GERP (PeopleSoft Oracle) knowledge is good-to-have

Required Experience:

• Advanced working experience around 5-10 years as Accounting Manager or Supervisor and is hands-on in finance and accounting with good commercial experience
• Experience in managing a team and playing a business partnership role

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of financial accounting systems and software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Thorough knowledge of general accepted accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
