Key Responsibilities:
- Define, document, and maintain standard finance processes, policies, and SOPs across the Hotels and Corporate Office
- Act as process owner or subject‑matter expert for finance in cross‑functional projects and change initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between management and end-users to ensure an effective approach to achieve optimal solution
- Assess system controls and develop procedures to improve financial systems as well as work with external IT auditors
- Prepare project documentation, including business requirements, business flow diagram and user manuals
- Act as project manager to oversee system readiness, ensuring all business and finance processes, as well as hotel teams, are fully prepared and followed for hotel opening
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, automation, AI, RPA, workflow tools) in finance operations and reporting
- Provide guidance and training to finance teams on new or updated processes and tools.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities where process expertise is required (e.g., reconciliations, exception handling, interim accounts)
- Perform or oversee periodic best‑practice reviews and benchmarking to keep finance processes aligned with business growth and industry standards
- Coordinate with shared services team, retained finance teams, and operating departments to ensure consistent process adoption and issue resolution
- Support audits and internal control reviews by providing process documentation, evidence, and remediation plans
- Contribute to ad-hoc transformation projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in system management including solid experience on supporting implementation or enhancement of any finance systems.
- Well knowledge of API and BI Tools is preferred
- Knowledge of core hospitality and financial systems is preferred (e.g. PMS, Shiji Infrasys POS, Blackline, Sun System or Infor EPM)
- Hotel operation experience is preferred
- Qualified CPA or Chartered Accountant is preferred
- Effective ability to prioritize and execute in a timely manner
- Motivated and self-starter who takes ownership
- Good communication, organization and analytical skills
- Good command of written and spoke English and Chinese (Including Mandarin)
