What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
Job Summary
The Manager, Finance Operations is responsible for the "end to end" Accounts Payable process. This includes strong partnerships with Sourcing, Suppliers, Accounting, Operations, FP&A, EIT, FOS, etc. Key responsibilities include: Process Improvements, transformation projects, maximization of Cash Discounts and maintaining a strong control environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversees a domestic and international team to drive consistency or improvements in CSLs, KPIs and AP financial health.
- Actively supports and participates in transformational projects
- Ensures a strongly controlled process including SOX controls
- Drive statement reconciliation efforts in partnership with Genpact and tool implementation in partnership with Transformation Management Office (TMO)
- Support internal ERP conversions
- Travel up to 5%
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 8-12 years of experience, preferred
- 6+ years accounts payable, finance operations, accounting or audit experience, preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and developing direct reports
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with personnel at various levels
- Experience with SAP, preferred
- Ability to travel 5%
Location
- Hybrid role
- Ideal candidate will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule - coming into the Dublin, OH office 1 day a week and working the other days remote
