Manager - Export Operations

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

➢ Effectively manage the day-to-day Supply Chain planning and operations for overseas exports. The operations efforts would include Order Management, Shipment Planning, stock planning, CHA and transportation management.

➢ Plan and coordinate the movement of finished goods from factory to overseas customer - i.e. End to End Supply and Shipments planning within the timelines and in a compliant manner. .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supply Chain Operations day to day activities:

➢ Compiling Orders of Customers, Planning Shipments basis the Delivery dates mentioned by Customers.

➢ Will be instrumental In sharing demand with Supply planners for production planning.

➢ Track and monitor stock levels and share shortfall with factory / supply planner.

➢ Coordinate to execute VAP / LEP as per plans.

➢ Coordinate with CHA/Shipping lines for Stuffing planning, Logistic planning.

➢ Follow up with CHA for Export Documents (BL, COA and country specific Documents which include legalized Documents and AIFTA).

➢ Validation and approval of BL and other documents.

➢ Will be Responsible for timely sharing updates with Customers on Shipments and other Shipments Supporting documents.

2. Customer Management:

➢ To coordinate with customers for Mo+ 3 Forecast and Purchase orders.

➢ To ensure that PO captures all Key Vital Information which includes Correct Pricing, POD, Consignee and Notify Party Details, Incoterms

➢ To Update Customers with proper MIS on Month Shipments and supporting Documents.

➢ To conduct and lead Monthly S&OP with Customers and Affiliates, prepare and share S&OP deck.

➢ To understand and capture Country Specific Mandatories which need to be printed on Labels/MC and ensure that production is in line with Regulatory requirements.

➢ To track and prepare GNATT chart for scaling up footprint to new affiliates and customers.

3. Distribution and Warehouse Management:

➢ Ensure timely approvals for Self-Sealing Permission, APEDA Certificates from Indian Customs.

➢ Maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures with 100% compliance to all SOPs and statutory requirements.

➢ Ensure complete stock accuracy preventing any stock inadequacy/excess Vs the Customer PO.

➢ Label Registrations: Ensure timely coordination for registration of labels by coordinating with Plants so that there are no delays in product supplies due to label registration issues.

➢ Ensure timely bill reconciliation and payment to service provider.

➢ Responsible to maintain necessary documentation (Invoice/Permit/TP/EVC/Excise Register etc.) as per local regulations.

4. Transportation management:

➢ Ensure 100% orders are executed within the timelines.

➢ Ensure statutory customs laws, excise rules and regulations are complied with.

➢ Give visibility to transporter/CHA on vehicle requirement.

➢ To Track and monitor transporters performance against KPIs and service levels; Ensure corrective actions to improve overall transportation performance.

➢ Liaison with the Finance team and transporters on detention, accidental and disputed cases, ensuring timely submission of Insurance Claims documents. Conduct Root Cause Analysis these cases and take corrective and preventive action plan for all the incidents, accidents or customer complaints.

➢ Ensure timely bill reconciliation and payment to service provider.

5. Order Management and Fulfilment:

➢ Verifying inventory available

➢ Picking of SKU

➢ Container Stuffing

➢ Correct documentation.

➢ Excise/Self-sealing as per excise/custom regulation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:

➢ Preferably be an MBA from institute of repute.

➢ Specialization in export and import.

EXPERIENCE (Please specify in case there are any preferred industries): ➢ 4-5 years of experience in export logistics activities of a comparable industrial enterprise.

➢ Should have strong Systems background and in-depth ERP knowledge to leverage IT in Logistics domain.

➢ A target oriented and self-driven individual with a high sense of achievement to accomplish departmental and self-goals.

➢ Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

➢ Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
