Who You Are:

We’re seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual who will drive Capri Holdings’ environmental sustainability strategies and support the daily operations of its global ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) programs. This individual will be responsible for implementing action plans to reduce the company’s environmental impact across a range of sustainability topics including biodiversity, chemical management, circularity, packaging, sourcing and water stewardship, while executing targeted supplier engagement strategies to address value chain impacts. Regulatory developments and evolving sustainability initiatives may expand the scope of the role’s responsibilities. The role is ideal for a self-starter with a broad knowledge of environmental sustainability issues within the industry, an organized approach to project management, and an ability to collaborate effectively with a range of internal stakeholders (including Communications, IT, Legal, Marketing, Operations and Production).

What You’ll Do:

             

  • Act as key driver of Capri Holdings’ execution of its ESG programming, with a particular focus on its environmental priorities
  • Develop and regularly report out on action plans, policies and KPIs across the company’s sustainability initiatives
  • Provide all sustainability inputs and coordinate the collection of other ESG inputs for public disclosure obligations, annual CSR reporting, customer/industry questionnaires and internal communications to optimize enterprise-wide awareness and engagement
  • Play an integral role in the sustainable product development process, providing support related to sustainable raw material sourcing, circularity and ESG marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational, sourcing and waste reduction improvements aligned with the company’s sustainability goals
  • Develop internal and external sustainability communications, including employee newsletters and forums, product claims/messaging and brand website and social media content
  • Support the company’s ESG regulatory readiness globally, including by working with cross-functional teams to develop, document and execute external disclosures and due diligence processes
  • Conduct comprehensive research on ESG topics and benchmarking to proactively identify issues, risks and trends affecting the company and the fashion, luxury and retail industries
  • Make brand- and company-appropriate recommendations to enhance ESG disclosures, practices and policies
  • Represent Capri Holdings and its brands in external ESG organizations, initiatives and collaborations
  • Manage ESG project budgets, schedules, action plans and resources, including certain administrative needs, with regular report outs to manager

You’ll Need to Have:

  • 5+ years of experience within a team managing and advancing environmental sustainability programs and initiatives; ideally within the fashion, luxury or consumer product industries  
  • Outstanding project management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously to drive completion
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically balancing sustainability objectives with needs of the business and resources
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, analytics and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the global organization
  • General understanding of fashion and key raw material supply chains

  • Familiarity with ESG-related disclosures (CDP, TCFD)
  • Professional presence to be a trusted representative of Capri Holdings and the Legal/ESG team
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to thrive without constant direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible
  • Strong time management, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Compensation Range: 

$110,000.00-$120,000.00
