Manager, IT Finance Systems

CyrusOne is seeking a talented and experienced Manager, IT Finance Systems to help design, develop, and optimize strategic software solutions for internal customers. This role is dynamic, granting the individual the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of projects and collaborate with many cross-functional teams throughout the business. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who excels in project management, cloud-based systems, SQL, and integrations. As an individual contributor, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure and systems to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities:  

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems and infrastructure, leveraging industry best practices.
• Develop and define integration strategies for custom and commercial applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers and Quality Assurance to deliver new application features.
• Perform hands-on SQL scripting and database management to support reporting and data analysis needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve IT operations and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Create, maintain and disseminate project information to the enterprise applications team and/or stakeholders. This can include leading IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope.
• Lead and/or participate in agile meetings including standups, backlog refinements, retrospectives and demos with the enterprise applications team and/or stakeholders.
• Foresee possible bottlenecks, provide escalation management, recommend tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
• Recognize, evaluate, track and mitigate issues and risks.
• Support enterprise application systems in back-up capacity as needed.
• Create and maintain user documentation for developed products.
• Design and document process flows.

Technical Qualifications:

• 5+years’ experience with administration, support, development of Finance, HR cloud applications with aptitude to quickly learn any cloud application. (examples: Workday, Blackline, OneStream, Yardi).
• 5+ years’ experience with SQL query and SQL script creation (including report writing).
• 5+years’ experience with development and support of system integrations (API, SFTP).

Project Management Qualifications:

• Agile / Sprint management expérience (e.g. Azure Dev Ops, Scrum master).
• Experience leading projects including managing project plan for all phases of a project.
• Experience creating project documentation including project plans, test plans, etc.
• Ability to work independently and lead assignments/projects of moderate to high complexity across multiple, integrated systems.
• Experience monitoring project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to ensure data management standards align with corporate data management strategy.
• Ability to prepare quick reference guides and system process documentation. 
• Strong can-do attitude in a time sensitive environment
• Ability to work on problems of any scope where the analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
• Excellent interpersonal communication, decision making, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
• Understanding and adherence to agile principles and practices
• Self-maintainability and reliability with minimal supervision

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management Information Systems, or related degree.
