Leidos' Chief Information Office, reporting through the Digital sector, is seeking a Manager, Endpoint Management. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in multi-platform, modern endpoint management including, physical devices, cloud native, virtualization, endpoint security, automation, and Digital Employee Experience (DEX), along with proven leadership experience managing enterprise-scale endpoint engineering and platform operations teams. They will have a strong track record of driving endpoint modernization initiatives, cloud management adoption and operational excellence in a large, complex and highly regulated environment.
Location: This position offers full time telework from any U.S. based location.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Strategy & Engineering
Define and execute the enterprise endpoint management strategy for Windows, macOS, mobile, and virtual desktop environments.
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune (GCC-High), SCCM/MECM, Jamf, Azure Virtual Desktops, Citrix VDI (or similar) and related technologies.
Drive endpoint modernization initiatives, including cloud-native management, imaging automation, and device lifecycle management.
Establish and maintain standards for device provisioning, configuration management, software deployment, patching, compliance, and endpoint governance.
Operations, Security & Digital Employee Experience
Oversee endpoint operations supporting a large-scale enterprise environment of 35k+ endpoints, ensuring platform stability, performance, and service excellence.
Partner with Cybersecurity and compliance teams to implement endpoint security controls, vulnerability management, patch compliance, encryption, EDR, etc. to meet compliance requirements including, NIST 800-171, CMMC Level 3 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
Drive adoption of automation, self-healing technologies, and Digital Employee Experience (DEX) capabilities to improve employee productivity and reduce support effort.
Establish and monitor operational metrics, endpoint health indicators, and employee experience measures.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of endpoint engineers and administrators.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Service Management, End User Services, and business stakeholders to align endpoint capabilities with organizational priorities.
Manage vendor relationships, technology roadmaps, budgets, and strategic investments.
Communicate technical strategy, operational performance, and transformation initiatives to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, coupled with 8+ years of relevant experience; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
8+ years of experience in endpoint management, endpoint engineering, workplace technology, or infrastructure operations.
4+ years of experience managing engineering and operations teams that manage endpoints in a large environment, 20k+ endpoints.
Deep expertise with enterprise endpoint management platforms and related technologies, including:
Microsoft Intune
SCCM/MECM
Jamf Pro
Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologies
Azure Virtual Desktops, Citrix VDI (or similar)
Active Directory, Entra ID
Strong knowledge of platform operations including Windows OS, macOS, Linux (preferred), and related platform lifecycle management.Experience leading endpoint modernization and cloud management initiatives.
Experience implementing endpoint security controls, vulnerability management, patch management, and compliance programs.
Experience leading large and complex endpoint migrations to support M&A activity.
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and financial management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms such as Nexthink.
Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL-based service management practices.
Experience with AI-driven workplace technologies and automation platforms.
Relevant Microsoft, ITIL, or cybersecurity certifications.
