The Role: We believe people are our most important asset, and managing our core talent and performance processes is critical to Morningstar's ability to empower investor success. As a Manager in the EMEA Talent Management Team, you will help support and advance our Early Careers and broader Talent Management function both in the EMEA region and as part of a larger global talent management team. You will report to the Head of EMEA Talent Management and work closely with the global talent management team, specifically the head of Career Transformation and Development.
Responsibilities: Based in our fast-growing office in Madrid, your functional areas of responsibility are:
  • Re-imagine Early Careers Programs: Lead Morningstar's efforts around our Early Careers and Morningstar Development Program (MDP) for the EMEA region. Work with Head of global career development to re-design and implement the flagship program by conducting needs analysis with leaders both in the region and globally.
  • Program delivery: Deliver a robust developmental experience for MDP participants located in Madrid and elsewhere in the region. Collaborate with regional talent acquisition, operations, and P&C business partners to deliver impactful skills-based training, mentoring and career development interventions.
  • Learning program implementation: Enable a culture of learning by scaling our global learning and leadership development programs in EMEA. You will also handle vendor management, regional newsletters and communication with participants.
  • Talent process support: Socialize and support our revamped Talent & Performance Management Processes, including facilitating related training in the region.
  • Support global initiatives and programs: Support special initiatives such as the annual Global Week of Learning, our educational stipend usage and various learning academies in EMEA
  • Build relationships: Work with key stakeholders to understand people development requirements across the region, partnering with P&C Business Partners and global talent management teams to diagnose, prioritize, and develop solutions to meet local needs
  • Regional adaption: Adapt global talent materials to reflect the necessary region-specific context and content for both talent process-related and professional development support

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in management or behavioral science (e.g. Industrial or Organizational psychology, HR Management, or Psychology) is preferred.
  • 3-to-5-year early career management and learning & development experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, execution, planning and project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate cross-culturally with diverse individuals and teams
