Primary Purpose: The Demand Planning Manager will lead inventory flow planning, sales data analysis and inventory optimization for the Tapestry (Coach & Kate Spade) EMEAI Wholesale & Distributor channel. This role will develop a strategic product and inventory plan aligned with the global strategy, as well as monitoring regional stock optimization in partnership with key cross functional partners. The Demand Planning Manager will play an integral role in delivering inventory, fulfilment rates and margin targets whilst working cross functionally to optimize cross channel inventory opportunities.
In addition, the Demand Planning Manager will lead, coach and develop a team of three Demand Planners across Coach and Kate Spade, providing clear objectives, regular performance feedback and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Demand Planning to:
  • Own and maintain inventory reporting including monthly analysis on sales, inbound production deliveries, stock holding, product availability, out of stock prevention, and reorder analysis. Ensure optimal inventory levels are held to maximize sales and minimize inventory liability risk
  • Build and present the Tapestry EMEAI Indirect unit level OTB plan based on top-down guidance, partnering with Inventory Management to align on the global strategy. Key metrics include sales, IMU, inventory turn and WOH targets at Dept/Class level, as well as creating investment strategy building blocks for key categories to ensure category alignment
  • Oversee SKU level forecasting, ensuring depth is aligned with topline OTB plans. Use historical data and macro-economic factors to create an accurate product investment plan
  • Own the monthly inventory reforecasting process, reviewing risks and opportunities with a focus on SKU level reforecasting for NOOS key product
  • Chair the quarterly market hindsight meeting and guide the team to own regional analysis for cross functional leads
  • Ensure accurate forecast maintenance in the planning tool, both during buy cycle and monthly reforecasting/maintenance
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams including Finance, Sales, Buying and Account Services to ensure inventory investments are aligned with the global strategy and requirements are met. Identify risks and opportunities and clearly communicate actions to mitigate and react according to a fast ‑ paced and constantly evolving environment
  • Manage accurate receipt tracking into each distribution centre, ensuring on-time delivery and proactive risk management in partnership with the Operations team
  • Share visibility and propose action plans for all EMEAI Indirect inventory with monthly reporting to both line manager and key cross-functional partners
  • Build strong relationships, interact and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Buying, Inventory Management at all levels of the business

The accomplished individual will possess:
  • 5+ years' experience in Demand Planning, Buying, or Inventory Management within retail, B2B, franchise, or wholesale environments
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • Highly analytical, with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience inspiring, developing, and retaining talent
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency (macro experience is an advantage)
  • Experience with planning systems, plus familiarity with SAP and MicroStrategy
  • Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to drive innovation, offering fresh perspectives and new ideas
  • Adaptable and open to change, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and new ways of working
