- Own the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and operational reliability of the data ingestion pipeline.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the global data team, market stakeholders, and the market IT team for data ingestion and data quality initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
- Process and analyze large data sets to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, customer acquisition, cross-selling, upselling, retention, and maximizing customer value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, agency, partnership, and finance, to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support various business initiatives and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science, or a similar role; experience in the life insurance industry is a plus.
- Proven experience in data engineering or data platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, data wrangling, data transformation, and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL and Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
