Job Description Summary: As a Manager, Data Analytics at Global Payments, you will lead a team of data analysts, manage data strategy and execution, and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytical insights. You will play a crucial role in harnessing data insights from Workday and other data visualizations tools. You will collaborate closely with team members across the organization to design, develop and deliver meaningful reports and visualizations that create data-driven decision making.

Data Strategy and Execution:

Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives.

Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Employ data management technologies and statistical software to analyze data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Technical Expertise:

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and engineering.

Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Use data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Power Query to conduct in-depth analysis.

Use Statistical Analysis such as SaS, SPSS or R.
Stakeholder Collaboration:

Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Reporting:

Oversee the development of analytical models and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to facilitate analysis and business decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.
-
Minimum of 11 years of related and progressively responsible experience.

10+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering, with at least 4 years in a managerial role highly preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Workday.

Experience with statistical tools such as SaS, SPSS or R

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Minimum 8+ years of work experience conducting quantitative people analyses or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in business, human resources management, data analytics, statistics, or closely related fields.

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Power Query.

Solid understanding of database management systems, data virtualization (e.g., Denodo or Azure Synapse), data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Knowledge of machine learning, predictive analytics, and Generative AI.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
