Manager, Data Acquisition 

 

What You’ll Do 

The Manager, Data Acquisition will play a crucial role in driving the company's mission to provide cutting-edge kidney care services to patients through effective data acquisition strategy and process. This person will lead a team of 1-2 data acquisition associates while directly managing a variety of data acquisition initiatives for existing and new partnersThey will also be responsible for providing input and executing on data acquisition strategies and process improvements that enable the organization to drive value-based outcomes in kidney care.  This position will report to the Sr. Director, Technology Operations & Governance. 

 

The Day to Day 

  • Provides input into and execute on a data acquisition strategy that supports the company's mission and values. 
  • Leads a team of data experts, both direct reports and in matrixed teams, and supports their professional growth and development by providing guidance and coaching. 
  • Builds and manages relationships with external partners or vendors to acquire new data sources. and make them available for integration into the company's data ecosystem 
  • Works independently or with minimal guidance to develop and meet deadlines, coordinates and communicates with internal and external stakeholders, and resolves problems. 
  • Collaborates with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and priorities. 
  • Uses data analysis from across the technology team to inform business decisions and support data-driven decision-making. 
  • Implements and enforces data quality, data governance, and data security processes to ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible to stakeholders. Identifies and implements improvements to existing processes. 
  • Builds knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices in data acquisition and analysis, and provides input into new technologies and processes that can support the company's goals. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 
  • 4+ years experience in data acquisition or analysis with healthcare data. 
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field (MHA, MPH) or MBA with healthcare administration focus. 
  • 2+ year experience leading or managing teams of data experts. 
  • Experience with Jira and SQL.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience implementing data acquisition strategies. 
  • Ability to translate complex data analysis into actionable insights for senior leaders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Annual Base Salary Range: $99,000.00 - $124,000.00
