As Manager Credit & Trade Finance, you will have full strategic and operational responsibility for Envalior’s global receivables risk management and trade finance activities. In this business-critical role, you will safeguard the company’s financial assets while enabling sustainable business growth by balancing commercial opportunities with effective risk management.

You will lead a small team of specialists responsible for assessing customer creditworthiness, establishing risk-based credit control processes, and ensuring robust credit limit management across Envalior’s global customer portfolio. You will oversee the execution and optimization of trade finance solutions, including Letters of Credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees, factoring, credit insurance, and inventory financing, ensuring international transactions are securely and efficiently supported.

In addition, you will drive the continuous improvement and digitalization of global credit and trade finance processes to strengthen liquidity, optimize working capital, and enhance operational efficiency. As a trusted business partner, you will collaborate closely with international Sales, Treasury, senior management, banking partners, credit insurers, factoring providers, and external advisors. You will also own global receivables reporting, monitor key performance indicators such as DSO, and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and financing covenants, contributing directly to Envalior’s financial resilience and long-term success.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, or a related field; alternatively, a banking background with a relevant professional qualification.
  • 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in international credit risk management, trade finance, or corporate banking.
  • Proven hands-on experience with trade finance instruments (e.g., Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, documentary collections) and asset-based financing solutions such as factoring and inventory financing.
  • Experience in designing and implementing global credit control processes and managing customer credit risk in an international business environment.
  • Initial leadership experience or the ability to lead and develop a small team is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other global ERP systems; experience with digital credit management, trade finance, or factoring platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to balance business growth and financial risk.
  • Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and with external partners.
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style with a high level of ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.

Skills Required
