Kids2 is seeking a Manager, Creative & Content to lead and develop a team of creative professionals across design, photography, videography, content creation, and production in our Zhongshan Office. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, team integration, and executional consistency across a portfolio of global brands.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, strategic, and process-driven leader who excels at managing people, building strong partnerships, and ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to delivery. While a deep creative background is not required, this individual must be an exceptional people leader who can establish clear priorities, create accountability, remove roadblocks, and keep teams aligned and on schedule.
This role serves as the connective tissue between Creative, Brand, Marketing, Ecommerce, Sales, and Product teams, ensuring creative resources are effectively deployed and business priorities are executed with excellence.
Primary ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary creative team including design, photography, video, content, and production professionals.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear goals, priorities, and development plans for team members.
- Drive team engagement, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
Creative Operations & Planning
- Oversee creative intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and project planning across multiple brands and business functions.
- Ensure all creative projects are aligned to business priorities and appropriately staffed.
- Drive visibility into team workload, capacity, timelines, and project status.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
Cross-Functional Integration
- Partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Product, Ecommerce, Sales, and Category teams to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for creative project planning and execution.
- Facilitate communication across teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and timely decision-making.
- Champion integrated ways of working that improve collaboration and efficiency across the organization.
Process Excellence & Execution
- Develop and maintain scalable workflows that improve speed, quality, accountability, and consistency.
- Leverage tools such as Workfront, Smartsheet, and other project management platforms to manage work and reporting.
- Establish and maintain best practices for creative planning, reviews, approvals, and asset delivery.
- Drive operational rigor to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to brand standards.
Governance & Visibility
- Provide leadership with clear reporting on project status, team performance, capacity, and key milestones.
- Ensure creative assets, documentation, and project information are properly managed and accessible.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen team effectiveness and organizational alignment.
- Drive consistency across creative execution, ensuring brand standards are upheld across all channels and markets.
Qualifications
- 4 – 6 years management experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing creative, content, marketing, or cross-functional project teams.
- Strong people leadership skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and building high-performing teams.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management capabilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management and workflow platforms such as Workfront, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar tools.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Deep understanding of project workflows and operational processes
- Proven ability to lead coordination across teams and manage complex project timelines
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across teams
- Experience with Smartsheet, Workfront, or similar project management tools
- Familiarity with Digital Asset Management systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with workflow documentation and reporting tools
- Standard office and computer-based work environment requiring extended periods of sitting and computer usage.
