We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in risk management to join our team as a Manager Controls Assurance. You will be responsible for executing and overseeing control testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will partner with key stakeholders to deliver insights, utilising data and your analytical skills. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will need to be adaptable, build strong relationships and work collaboratively with COO Control Owners, COO Line 1 Risk teams, Line 2 and Group Audit.

Your Skills & Experience
  • Conduct Line 1 assurance through the testing of complex automated and business controls.

  • Be accountable and take ownership of assigned controls, including the application of testing strategies and methodologies.

  • Validate and present findings and document test plans and test results clearly and concisely, including improvement opportunities.

  • Deliver high-quality testing and accurate outcomes within established timeframes and in alignment with the Controls Assessment Program (CAP) Standard.

  • Drive continuous improvement of the control environment through strategic risk initiatives, automation and control rationalisation.

  • Controls testing experience, including the identification, planning, testing and reporting of business controls across various business processes.

  • The ability to think critically and analytically, and use data-driven insights to solve problems.

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.

  • Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks.

  • Bring strong hands-on AI generative AI tools experience, including building AI agents, to improve assurance, analysis and business processes.

  • Building dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI or similar tools.

  • Using Alteryx or similar tools to analyse data and automate testing, workflows and reporting.

  • Turning technical outputs into clear business insights while applying appropriate governance and oversight.
