The Manager, Compliance & Immigration is responsible for ensuring compliance with all state, federal and local employment laws and regulations across Red Bull’s North American entities. As a part of the Talent team, this role evaluates all current and new people-related compliance regulations, reviews company processes, and implements best practices across the organization.
This role also oversees Red Bull’s immigration programs by working closely with Talent Business Partners (TBPs), Talent Acquisition (TA), managers, Red Bull HQ, and external immigration counsel. This position serves as the subject matter expert and main point of contact with questions and case filings to ensure a premium employee experience.
This position works closely with the leadership teams across the various stakeholder groups and Talent verticals.
Job DescriptionCOMPLIANCE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Lead the maintenance of policies in alignment with our values, appropriate laws, and regulations.
Partner with Legal, Finance/Payroll, IT, and Talent teams to ensure compliance.
Review, assess, and recommend courses of action to ensure the company is in full compliance with all state, federal, local, and other regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and ensure proper documentation is available for audits or inspections.
Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on Talent compliance topics, including, but not limited to, anti-discrimination, harassment prevention, and workplace safety.
Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance-related questions or concerns from employees and leadership.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of current and developing employment regulations.
IMMIGRATION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Coordinate processing and timelines for non-immigrant (e.g., H1-B, L-1, TN) and immigrant visa sponsorship (all stages of the PERM process, I-140 and I-485 filings) as well as J-1 and F-1 applications.
Facilitate and coordinate conversations with external counsel, assist managers and employees with day-to-day questions, and ensure overall compliance on all immigration matters and programs.
Manage immigration and compliance-related budgets, identifying spending trends and partnering with appropriate stakeholders to address any opportunities or discrepancies. Collaborate with the business and Talent to develop, execute and communicate immigration filing strategies for cases.
Ensure foreign nationals are well informed regarding all stages of their immigrant status including documentation, strategy, and case progression.
Provide timely responses to immigration policy and program questions for candidates, employees and managers.
Compile data and documents in response to OFCCP audits, EEO-1 and postings.
PROCESS ENHANCEMENT AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Identify opportunities for improvements in compliance and immigration processes, programs and vendors.
Make adjustments or recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the area of responsibility.
Collaborate with team members to implement changes and optimize processes.
Qualifications5+ years Human Resources experience with 1+ years immigration experience a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Strong knowledge of local, state and U.S. federal laws and requirements governing recruiting, immigration, and employment.
Ability to work independently according to business needs, fulfill objectives timely with little supervision, as well as excellent planning, organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Proven consistency in achieving accuracy and compliance.
Exceptional project management skills, with a need to identify both current and future trends.
Additional InformationThe base salary range for this position is $92,000 - 138,000 + performance bonus target.
