Title and Summary
Manager, Communications
Context and Scope of Role:• Contribute to strategic Asia Pacific communications planning across internal and external audiences-including employees, senior customers, regulators, media, industry influencers, and public stakeholders. Ensure all communications are culturally nuanced, locally resonant, and designed to scale across a diverse and complex AP region.• Design and execute fully integrated, 360 degree go to market communications programs for multiple business units, blending traditional corporate communications with digital marketing and storytelling. Ensure clear, consistent voice across earned, owned, paid, and digital channels-spanning social media, executive and brand platforms, influencer engagement, and visually led content.
Specific projects / major accountabilities, expected deliverables and timeline• Drive B2B storytelling through digital, social, and visual-first content, translating complex products, platforms, and technologies into clear, compelling narratives for senior decision makers. Oversee the development of multimedia assets including videos, animations, explainers, data visualisations, executive presentations, and interactive content that bring Mastercard's value proposition to life.• Own regional social media and digital amplification strategies for priority narratives, campaigns, and leadership visibility-partnering with marketing and global teams to optimise content for reach, relevance, and engagement across LinkedIn and other priority platforms.• Partner closely with global, regional, and market stakeholders to deliver aligned, enterprise wide communications that reinforce corporate strategy, accelerate culture change, and showcase business performance, innovation, and thought leadership through strong digital and visual execution.• Contribute to regional corporate and B2B communications programs that clearly articulate the value Mastercard delivers to customers, partners, governments, and society-using data driven insights, marketing assets, digital storytelling, and modern content formats to differentiate Mastercard in the market.• Oversee agency and vendor relationships, including creative agencies, social and digital partners, writers, production houses, and consultants. Ensure consistently high quality execution across press materials, integrated campaigns, leadership communications, and digital/AV assets-while managing workflows, approvals, and brand standards.• Execute high impact regional campaigns where marketing content, creative assets, and visual storytelling are core differentiators-often leveraging Mastercard's global and regional sponsorships, partnerships, experiential platforms, and digital ecosystems.• Drive employee engagement and internal storytelling using modern, digital first approaches. Ensure employees clearly understand the company's strategy, priorities, and their role in delivering it-positioning senior leadership messages effectively across internal platforms, townhalls, social-style channels, and visual content formats.
