In this position you will....

Drive profitable and sustainable growth of both commercial and consumer business through effective broker engagement, optimized product and portfolio mix, disciplined underwriting, and enhance cost efficiency through operational improvements.


You will be responsible for…

  • Achieve top-line growth targets (GWP) across both commercial and consumer business segments
  • Manage account underwriting for new partners and assigned portfolios, ensuring sound risk selection, profitability and portfolio discipline.
  • Develop and manage relationships with local brokers and agents across all tiers to maximize new business opportunity within bolttech GI’s risk appetite 
  • Drive sustainable profitability across each product line, with accountability for overall portfolio performance.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial mindset and promote a strong production-focused underwriting culture within the team

You will require the following qualifications and skills                                                                                                               

  • At a minimum, bachelor’s degree from a leading university 
  • A strong track record in commercial insurance space in Hong Kong
  • At least 10 years of experience in insurance with a direct insurance company (with Large Corporate business and Marine insurance experience is a preferred)
  • Any actuary and data analytic experience is a plus
