Find your purpose as a Coding Manager at CentraCare. As the Coding Manager you will serve as the leadership point-person for coding staff. The Coding Manager is accountable for directing, supporting, monitoring, and coordinating CentraCare system coding and abstracting processes. The Coding Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the completion, accuracy, and compliance of all the coding functions, which may include, but are not limited to, promoting a positive and productive work environment, tailoring and/or creating coding policies and procedures, and developing process improvement initiatives. Engages in meetings and gap analysis of new services assisting with implementation as necessary. Provides as necessary, education to staff and physicians.
Schedule:
- Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Mon-Fri Days
- Fully remote
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $68,952.00 per year and increases with experience.
- Salary range: $68,952.00-$103,438.40 per year
- Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and post-secondary education in HIM/Coding or a medical related program required.
- 3 years to 5 years at a minimum of previous coding experience and working knowledge of insurance and third-party billing.
- 1 years to 2 years at a minimum of lead or supervisory experience.
- Current credentialing by AAPC or AHIMA required.
- Previous EMR experience preferred.
