About the role/team:
The Manager, Chevron Field Sales role leads sales efforts for the designated oil brand portfolio by effectively managing a team of field-based Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). The sales manager is responsible for leading the efforts of seasoned and new RSMs who work with targeted fleets to earn their business on a WEX co-branded fuel card. The ideal candidate is self-driven and has demonstrated an ability to coach and mentor a direct sales team, and achieve strong and consistent results. Culture matters, and the sales manager will be expected to create a desirable and results-oriented team environment.

Accomplish growth and revenue objectives by effectively managing and motivating the team.

Create a culture of frequent coaching/feedback and performance management through continuous development of the team.

Be involved in the sales process for certain strategic customers.

Analyze trends and performance, to share insights and provide timely and accurate reports to upline management, often crafting presentations.

Make contributions to the success of the account overall as a member of the Chevron/WEX Leadership Team.

Participate in the strategic planning process by representing the needs of the field sales organization and the competitive challenges in the marketplace.

Interface with colleagues at the designated brand to advance shared objectives.

Hold team meetings to foster collaboration, knowledge share, and market insight.
Experience you will bring:

3+ years of management experience

7-10 years of sales experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Proficient in Office, G-Suite and Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of management experience

Demonstrated knowledge of B2B sales experience

Associates (2 year) degree or Bachelor's (4 year) degree

Client relationship management experience

Air Travel/ Overnight Travel: 50-75%
Base Salary: $93,000-$123,000 + Uncapped OTE
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
