Manager, Channel Marketing

As a Manager, Channel Marketing supporting Contact Lens Customer Marketing Team, you will be trusted to work on Partnering with product development and marketing teams to ensure that customer needs/values are incorporated into product design, branding, and marketing approaches and at our Fort Worth, TX location.  

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborate with Key Account leads as a strategic partner to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and implement solutions
  • Develop and execute Alcon marketing plans for Key Account Retailers, from strategy to asset development and delivery, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manages internal and external creative agency partners to ensure timelines and budgets are met and assets meet customer and legal requirements
  • Shapes content for and actively engages in customer meetings as the marketing subject matter expert
  • Leverages data and analytics to Identify market and customer opportunities
  • Conducts post program analysis across marketing and sales to understand impact/ROI
  • Leads activities for customer event sponsorships, from compliance approvals to booth design and delivery, to content development in partnership with brand
  • Experience managing agency partners
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data appropriately to identify customer opportunities or track performance.
  • Ability to think strategically and within execution constraints
  • Looks for solutions for friction points and is willing to share new ideas/new ways of working

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.
  • Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.) 
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience managing agency partners
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data appropriately to identify customer opportunities or track performance.
  • Digital Marketing and Paid Media experience
  • Ability to think strategically and within execution constraints
  • Looks for solutions for friction points and is willing to share new ideas/new ways of working
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, oversee timelines, and drive clarity
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and to influence without authority
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt stories/messages to audience needs
