This role is responsible for managing and delivering the successful onboarding of customers into DP World’s European LLP / 4PL operations. It ensures that awarded contracts are executed efficiently through structured implementation projects, clear stakeholder coordination, and strong customer engagement. Change management skills and experience is critical in any LLP / 4PL implementation and even more so for customer outsourcing their logistics function for the first time.
The position can be based in Germany, Czech Republic (Prague), Poland (Gdansk/Warsaw) or Netherlands (Rotterdam).
How you will contribute:
Customer Implementation Management
- Develop and execute implementation plans aligned to contract requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, IT, commercial, and product.
- Support system integration (EDI/API) and testing to ensure smooth electronic data exchange.
- Prepare SOPs, process flows, and reporting templates for operational teams.
- Serve as the key operational contact for customers during onboarding
Project Management
- Monitor project milestones and proactively identify risks.
- Report progress to senior stakeholders and customers.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improvement areas.
Change Management
- Lead As-Is and To-Be process mapping workshops together with (customer) stakeholders.
Assess change management risks and define risk mitigation plan. Drive adoption of new processes and tools.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
- Highlight process optimization opportunities within implementation activities.
- Contribute to regional best practice sharing, and support initiatives to automate and digitize workflows.
Training and Development
- Coordinate training on customer requirements and IT systems.
- Coach Analysts and junior team members in project delivery and process management.
Your key qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain, lead logistics provider / 4PL, with proven exposure to customer implementation.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor customer implementation projects.
- Good knowledge of EDI and API standards, protocols, and supply chain visibility applications.
- Scope management is key to ensure the designed solution gets implemented
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience in documenting processes, preparing SOPs, and ensuring operational compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with commercial, operations, and IT teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Goal-oriented, team-driven, and able to coach and mentor junior team members.
- Fluent in English; other European languages an advantage.
