Job Description Summary

The BIM Manager will lead the implementation, management, and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for hotel and hospitality projects. The role is responsible for ensuring effective BIM execution across architectural, structural, MEP, interior design, and specialty systems disciplines, enabling efficient design coordination, clash resolution, construction planning, and project delivery.

Job Description

BIM Strategy & Management
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in accordance with project requirements.
  • Establish BIM standards, workflows, templates, and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational BIM standards and client requirements.
  • Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and document control processes.
Design Coordination
  • Coordinate BIM models across Architecture, Structure, MEP, Interior Design, Landscaping, and Hotel Specialty Systems.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary model reviews and coordination meetings.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts before construction.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
Project Delivery & Construction Support
  • Support construction teams with model-based planning and execution.
  • Integrate BIM deliverables into project scheduling, quantity take-offs, and construction sequencing.
  • Monitor model development progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Assist in generating shop drawing reviews and coordination drawings.
Quality & Compliance
  • Review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
  • Establish model audit procedures and perform periodic quality checks.
  • Ensure BIM deliverables meet contractual and client requirements.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary BIM point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Conduct BIM workshops and training sessions for project teams.
  • Present model coordination updates and progress reports to project leadership.
Asset Information & Handover
  • Manage asset data requirements for FM-ready and as-built BIM deliverables.
  • Support digital handover processes and integration with facility management systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • BIM certification from Autodesk, Bentley, or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of BIM methodologies and standards (ISO 19650 preferred).
Experience
  • 8-15 years of overall experience in design/construction projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on BIM management experience.
  • Experience working on Hotels, Hospitality, Mixed-use, Luxury Residential, or Commercial Building Projects.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
