To monitor and ensure completeness for custody services of investment products such as Equities, Bonds, ELI/ELN, UT and Structure Deposit. He/she is also required to support various ad-hoc assignments, attend system training, prepare SOP and controls the preparation of weekly/monthly statistics reports to management.
Responsibilities
Monitor all corporate events for different investment products to ensure they are performed properly and its correctness and completeness including local and foreign markets.
Ensure all corporate events are completed on schedule.
Ensure all benefit entitlements are distributed properly.
Check notification letter input for general corporate events.
Check the manual draft corporate event letters for complex corporate events.
Monitor Corporate Action of different investment products which include Bond, Unit Trust, Structured Products, SDS and Foreign Stock in Bank systems (e.g. ibroker, T24, IVS, CBS)
Operate custodian platform for Corporate Action (e.g. Clearstream, Euroclear, CCASS, FINI)
Handle and monitor IPO stock subscription and settlement tasks
Handle and monitor payment instructions
Reconciliation monthly statement and reports
Handle Branch enquiries and follow up
Supervise and coach junior / new members of the section
Provide support to the section head and other team managers when required
Attend system training, prepare SOP and assist UAT project
Requirements
3 years in Banking industry, preferably with knowledge on custody and handling corporate action events for investment products.
Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive results
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address
Operational challenges. Possess desirable attributes including being a team player, willingness to learn and problem-solving skills
Has product knowledge of equities and fixed income.
Good knowledge of PC skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
