The opportunity

This is the 2nd Line of Defense role within the Asia Information Risk Management. You are responsible for the Asia Information Risk Management (IRM) activities in providing a proactive and effective challenge to the 1st Line to ensure they are operating within the risk appetite, the appropriate policies and standards as well as providing swift responses on the market-specific risk oversight and insights. 

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders globally and this role will report to the Director, Asia Information Risk Management.

On the job you will:

  • Perform the 2nd Line IRM oversight information risk review for relevant initiatives aligned with the internal framework in the Operational Risk Management (ORM) risk concurrence process

  • Perform the 2nd Line IRM oversight on the Technology RCSA program, issues and the associated corrective action plan, and incidents.

  • Perform 2nd Line exceptions review

  • Provide advisory and added value to Market on market-specific risk insights

  • Support the Market’s remediation plan implementation

  • Facilitate the Market risk posture evaluation through report formation

  • Guide the Market on global initiatives

  • IRC meeting preparation and follow-ups

  • Build and maintain a relationship with various stakeholders – Market IT, Risk and other stakeholders.

  • ORM support concerning RCSA - provide IRM support for Process RCSA managed by Market and ORM issue review

  • Familiarize and use internal risks tools.

  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and administrative matters

What we are looking for

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or Information Security (IS)

  • 5 years in IRM and Information Security

  • Excellent technical skills in Technology Risk Management (TRM) and Information Security Management (ISM)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Appreciation of different cultures

  • Proficient in Vietnamese, and English

  • Professional certificate holder – CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CSSLP, or CISM would be an advantage

  • Experience in the following:

  • Information Risk Assessment

  • IT/IS security controls review

  • Business continuity and disaster recovery
