Key Areas of Responsibilities
Provide application support for the Wealth Management and Brokerage businesses for Hong Kong and Singapore offices
Track issues, conduct production incident analysis, and follow up on action items that arise
Collaborate with vendors and the in-house development team to deliver effective IT solutions
Support version upgrades and system deployments
Conduct system health check and continuously improve health check script
Continuously enhance the IT monitoring system and respond promptly to alarms to troubleshoot production issues
Ensure software quality by supporting System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Market Rehearsals
Gather user requirements, perform business analysis, and propose solutions accordingly
Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline(s).
Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in Brokerage or Wealth Management IT.
Hands-on experience in supporting trading and settlement system of securities, futures and Options, bonds, mutual funds and structure products
Practical experience with Internet trading and Mobile trading system support
Experience in SQL
Knowledge in SAS is an advantage
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Good analytical and presentation skills
Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and HK public holidays as required (with compensation)
