Be a part of the National Integration Services (NIS) dynamic team! If you have a passion for building the Bank of tomorrow on the best technology available, then this role is for you. NIS oversees a portfolio of both established and emerging data/application integration products architected to support our critical systems. Your key area of focus will be to manage technical resources and enable their success in building custom integration solutions in line with the Federal Reserve System’s cloud strategy. Your work with be managing “how” business value is delivered to our partners through integration technology. This will involve collaboration with critical lines of business, and key cross-functional partners within the Federal Reserve’s National IT team. To be successful, you will need strong people leadership and team development skills, excellent oral and written communication, and have confidence backed by experience to be an influential leader. You should also bring experience leading development teams in executing complex projects to completion.
- Communicating with stakeholders to manage relationships and expectations
- Identify and develop or improve processes to increase efficiency and sustain customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for team hiring and people management focused on growth, strengths, and mission-driven engagement.
- Manage the structure and function of the development team to deliver high quality, resilient, and secure solutions for customers
- Act as an escalation resource for the team
- Work on complex issues where analysis of situations and data requires in-depth evaluation of varying factors
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Management or a related field. Master’s degree desirable
- 7+ years of relevant IT and business work experience with expert knowledge of fundamental development practices and the technology solution development lifecycle.
- 5 years of experience in managing/leading teams
- Have managed people and financial resources while ensuring the development of high-quality technology solutions to customers
- Have managed improvement of processes that support resilient and secure operations and result in customer satisfaction and successful partnerships.
- Have experience partnering closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to coordinate and support resource allocation, capacity planning, and our function as an Agile organization
- Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen
- Understand AWS cloud and *nix compute environments
- Understand fundamental concepts of integration and orchestration
- Understand Agile/lean processes, roles, and ceremonies
Base Salary Range for Manager, Application Development: Min: $143,000 - Mid: $185,800 - Max: $228,600 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
