Job Summary:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, AI and Process Excellence will lead ProMedica’s efforts to improve how work gets done across the organization. Leading the AI & Process Excellence (APEX) team and Project Foundry, you’ll help simplify processes, advance the use of automation and AI and deliver solutions that make work more efficient and effective.

You will partner with leaders across ProMedica to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives and guide projects from concept through implementation.  In this collaborative player-coach role, you will lead process discovery, agile delivery, change management and continuous improvement efforts to deliver measurable business value.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Must demonstrate strength in process discovery and mapping, facilitation, change management, agile or iterative delivery, portfolio and project management, stakeholder influence, executive communication, and people leadership.
  • Able to turn ambiguous operational challenges into structured improvement plans, business requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of automation, AI, process mining, data, and low-code concepts sufficient to partner effectively with IT; hands-on software development expertise is not required.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business transformation, change management, consulting, or related work.
  • 2 years leading people, teams, or complex cross-functional programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading initiatives from discovery through implementation, adoption, and value realization in a complex organization.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and presenting recommendations and results to senior leaders.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s Degree (MBA, MHA, or MS) in a relevant field.
  • Experience leading agile sprints or serving as a Scrum Master or Product Owner. Formal change management experience using Prosci, ADKAR, CCMP, or a comparable approach.
  • Experience with process or task mining and Lean or Six Sigma methods.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Infor CloudSuite or a comparable ERP, and AI- or automation-enabled process improvement from the business side.
  • Healthcare, health system, or other complex regulated-enterprise experience.
  • Direct people management experience and experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives across multiple functions.
  • One or more relevant certifications, such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, Prosci or CCMP, PMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or a comparable credential.
