As an Accounting Manager, you will take ownership of core accounting areas such as revenue recognition, complex transactions, and intercompany activities. You will collaborate with both local and global teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies, and play a key role in supporting Korea's monthly and statutory close process.

This role requires strong analytical judgment, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement. You’ll assess the accounting implications of new and existing business arrangements, lead technical reviews when needed, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.

You’ll also contribute to operational scalability through process improvement, change management, and collaboration across Finance, Legal, Game/Esports Teams, and our global accounting team.

• Review and reconcile Accounts Receivable and revenue-related accounts to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP / IFRS.
• Prepare or review accounting memos and technical documentation for complex or non-routine transactions.
• Lead intercompany transactions related to esports operations such as invoicing, settlements, and reconciliations for global and regional event costs - across multiple legal entities, ensuring alignment with global finance and tax policies.
• Review commercial contracts, including sponsorship agreements and global esports production vendor contracts, to identify accounting implications and ensure proper treatment in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audits, including local statutory and group requirements.
• Provide accounting guidance to cross-functional stakeholders to support business decisions working with Legal, Finance, and business teams as needed.

• 6+ years of experience, including Big 4 audit background.
• CPA certification (US or Korea).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical accounting research and apply findings.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• Experience working in the gaming, entertainment, or tech industries.
• Experience managing or mentoring team members.
• Passion for games or a strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem is a plus.
