This role also serves as the leader for the accounting team and is therefore responsible for all people management activities including recruiting, team development, PMP, career development and coaching.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process and year-end activities, ensuring accuracy of P&L (below PC) and Balance Sheet.
- Lead the annually Budget process and monthly S&OP projections to Corporate, ensuring projection accuracy, timely information to avoid risks and decision making.
- Responsible of Corporate and Local Ledger.
- Key point of contact within the cluster for coordination with the SSC on Treasury, A/P, R2R and General Ledger topics.
- Preparation and submission of statutory requirement and/or key point of contact with outsourced statutory agency in the cluster members.
- Coordination internal and external audits as well as SOAR testing.
- Finance Controller, ensuring compliance with policies across the region.
- Provide finance support for administrative functions in the cluster including functionals, payments processing (working with SSC, payroll, treasury, etc), non-inventory purchase orders, intercompany.
- Manage and ensure compliance on processes for Trade Compliance, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, AP, Insurances and Legal.
- Legal Representative for Mexico and Costa Rica. Main point of contact for any legal (non-labor) matters.

- Manage main vendors regarding professional services.
