Position Summary
The Manager of Accounting Transformation owns the transformation roadmap for the global controllership organization by leading strategic initiatives that improve financial processes, strengthen controls, optimize systems, and enable a scalable, best-in-class accounting function.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead strategic controllership transformation initiatives focused on close optimization, process standardization, accounting policy implementation, and organizational design.
· Manage complex cross-functional Finance and Accounting projects in partnership with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, IT, Procurement, HR, and external consultants.
· Assess accounting processes, controls, and workflows to identify automation opportunities, eliminate manual activities, reduce risk, and improve reporting quality and timeliness.
· Partner with accounting leadership to evaluate accounting implications of acquisitions, system implementations, restructuring activities, and new business initiatives.
· Lead enhancement and optimization efforts across ERP, close management, reporting, workflow, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled finance tools.
· Develop KPIs, governance processes, and reporting dashboards to measure transformation success and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
· Progressive experience in accounting, controllership, finance transformation, or related functions.
· Strong project management and change management experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives.
· Knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
· Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· CPA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification.
· Experience supporting global or multi-entity accounting organizations.
· Experience with finance automation, process improvement methodologies, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
