Job Description
Technical Expertise:
- 15-18 years of experience in software development with at least 4-6 years in managerial roles.
- Strong background in:
- C/C++ development
- Embedded Linux systems
- Multithreading, memory management, IPC
- Video streaming protocols (DASH/HLS), DRM, codecs
- GStreamer or similar media frameworks
- Bootflow, BSP, device abstraction layers
- Understanding of RDK-V architecture, Thunder framework, IPC, service managers, and HAL interfaces.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to manage large distributed software teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across global time zones.
- Strong conflict-resolution, negotiation, and decision-making ability.
- Experience driving change management and modernising engineering practices.
Nice to Have
- Participation or contribution to the RDK Open-Source stack.
