INTRODUCTION:
On our management trainee program, you will quickly assume responsibility for your tasks within our innovative R&D department. From the outset, you will feel like an important part of the KION Group and a member of an effective and friendly team. You will gain hands-on experience in bringing next-generation industrial vehicles from concept to production.
Responsibilities
1.You will play a key role in supporting the R&D team in the development of new products and technologies for the China market and beyond.
2.Support the prototyping and testing phases, assisting senior engineers in validating new designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
3.Analyze technical requirements and collaborate with the global engineering team to adapt global platforms for local market needs (localization).
4.Assist in the research and evaluation of new materials, components, and technologies to drive innovation and cost optimization.
5.Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including design specs, test reports, and engineering change orders.
6.Participate in cross-functional meetings to bridge the gap between R&D, Product Management, and Manufacturing.
Job Requirement
1.You have a master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering) and are looking to put your theoretical knowledge into practice.
2.You have business-level Chinese and English to collaborate effectively with international engineering teams and review technical documents.
3.You are a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, have a high level of personal initiative, and are eager to understand how products are built.
4.Ideally, you have initial practical experience through internships in a manufacturing or engineering R&D environment and are familiar with CAD software or basic simulation tools.
