Management Consultant - General Insurance

The Role
We are seeking experienced General Insurance Consultants to join our growing Insurance practice. You will work with leading Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurers to deliver large-scale transformation programmes spanning underwriting, claims, policy administration, pricing, distribution, and regulatory change.
From core system modernisation to digital channel transformation and operational optimisation, you will help clients navigate complex change while improving efficiency, customer experience, and long-term resilience. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across business and technology initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Support and lead client engagements across General Insurance transformation programmes
- Deliver consulting services including business analysis, operating model design, and programme delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder engagement across underwriting, claims, operations, and technology
- Contribute to proposal development and thought leadership within the General Insurance market
- Identify opportunities for digital enablement, automation, and data-led improvement across the insurance value chain
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working within General Insurance (Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines)
- Demonstrated delivery experience across transformation, regulatory, operational, or technology change programmes
- Strong understanding of core GI functions including underwriting, claims, policy administration, and distribution
- Ability to bridge business and technology teams within complex environments
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and structured problem-solving skills
Bonus Points For
- Experience supporting core system implementations (e.g. policy administration or claims platforms)
- Exposure to pricing transformation, data analytics, or automation initiatives
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting General Insurance (e.g. Consumer Duty, pricing regulation)
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Prior consulting experience or internal transformation experience within financial services
