Job Description

We are searching for graduates (with up to 1 year of work experience) to join us in our APAC team in Singapore. You stand a good chance if you have a growth mindset, is highly dependable and have the curiosity, drive and tenacity to build a career with a market leader in a Fintech industry.

You will embark on a 12-month program where you can expect:

• 2 months of onboarding bootcamp
• 10 months of training and on the job learning with coaching from the hiring manager as well as mentoring from other senior team members
• Opportunities to acquire the essential knowledge/ skills and experiences you need to build a purposeful career you aspire.

Upon successful completion of your bootcamp, you will become a permanent member of our big family.

What are we looking for:

As a Full Stack Developer with focus on Avaloq Script and Angular your task will consist of analyzing defect in web banking solution and mobile banking solution, estimating the effort for the implementation of new features and designing and implementing solutions for our customers.

Your mission

• Maintain the software from our core system to our front-end solutions.
• Apply Software Development best practices, including unit testing, version control, continuous integration and design patterns.
• Write technical documentation, analyze and resolve incidents.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, mathematics, computer/software engineering or similar disciplines from local universities.
• Knowledge and experience in one or more high level programming language (preferable JavaScript or TypeScript).
• Willingness to learn Avaloq’s own scripting language.
• Agile mindset and thirst for knowledge, willingness to unlearn and relearn.
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and comfortable with working and collaborating with diverse culture at all levels.
• Openness to new learnings, willing to undergo trainings and obtain certifications as required by the role.

It is a plus if you have:

• Minor in Business and Technology
• Completed internship with companies in industries such as Fintech or Banking and Finance
• Good grasps of concepts of software engineering
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• First experiences with Angular
